From engineering concept to industrial deployment

EAPOSYS has signed an agreement with Halliburton to conduct a subsurface feasibility study aimed at accelerating the deployment of its Advanced Geothermal Systems. The work will support the industrialization of EAPOSYS engineering and well design, while incorporating site-specific geothermal and stratigraphic conditions to reduce drilling risk and further develop the scalable architecture.

For EAPOSYS, the collaboration is an important step toward combining its patented closed-loop architecture with proven drilling technologies and expertise developed by the oil & gas industry.

Initial applications will focus on district heating and industrial heat, with the potential to add electricity generation through cascade applications at higher operating temperatures.

The agreement also supports EAPOSYS’ regional deployment model through EAPOLABs, beginning with SwissDGS in Switzerland.
