Turning AGS Technology into Swiss Projects
October 2024 marked an important milestone for EAPOSYS with the creation of SwissDGS GmbH, our Swiss JV dedicated to accelerating the deployment of Advanced Geothermal Systems (AGS) in Switzerland.
SwissDGS brings together EAPOSYS, Amberg Group and Basler & Hofmann as equal founding partners, combining EAPOSYS’ patented deep closed-loop geothermal technology with strong Swiss expertise in underground infrastructure and large-scale engineering. The company was incorporated in Zürich on 17 October 2024, following several years of discussions between the partners.
Enabled by the Migros Pioneer Fund
The Migros Pioneer Fund is supporting SwissDGS in laying the foundations for a first AGS showcase project in Switzerland, including project development, partnerships and market preparation. Migros highlights deep closed-loop geothermal as a promising pathway toward a more sustainable and independent energy supply, with geothermal offering local energy regardless of weather, time of day or season.
For EAPOSYS, SwissDGS represents a significant step in its go-to-market strategy: bringing together local engineering, infrastructure and energy expertise to turn AGS technology into real projects.
