While AGS technology is universal in principle, its deployment is inherently local. Every project must align with regional geology, permitting frameworks, stakeholder landscapes, and energy market dynamics.

Each PMC is responsible for planning, permitting, and execution of AGS projects, with full access to EAPOSYS tools (EAPOSIM, EAPOFIN), engineering support, and system design. This structure allows EAPOSYS to remain capital-efficient and globally scalable while ensuring that AGS deployments are regionally viable, bankable, and socially anchored.

Latitude 53

Validating the technologies needed to drill geothermal deeper, hotter and more reliably.

Near Hinton, Alberta, EAPOSYS and Canadian industry partners are developing an integrated technology demonstration at Novus Earth’s Latitude 53 site. The Latitude 53 Geothermal Drilling Accelerator is designed as a common field platform for validating multiple next-generation drilling and completion technologies; reducing duplication, accelerating learnings and helping de-risk commercial geothermal deployment.

For EAPOSYS, the objective is to field-validate a new ranging protocol developed to improve well-to-well intersection speed at depths of 2–5 km. Reliable deep intersection is an enabling capability for EAPOSYS’s advanced closed-loop geothermal architecture.

EAPOSYS Canada is actively helping build connections across Canada’s emerging geothermal industry. Stephanie Vetsch serves as Director of Communications for the Canadian Geothermal Industry Alliance (CGIA), a collaboration of emerging Canadian geothermal players working to leverage Canada’s drilling, subsurface, engineering and technology-commercialization expertise to strengthen Canada’s role in the global geothermal industry.

Through the CGIA, EAPOSYS participates in industry engagement, knowledge sharing and international collaboration, including the Canadian geothermal community’s presence at the 2026 World Geothermal Congress in Calgary.

Stephanie established EAPOSYS’s Canadian presence in Calgary following her MBA at IMD in Switzerland. Drawing on experience across Canadian energy operations, reservoir and production engineering, process optimization, cleantech deployment and business development, she leads EAPOSYS’s North American market development, partnerships and project initiation.
